Classic Steamboat Cruises is a family-owned business operated by HW and L Turner since 2002.

M.V. ‘Grower’ a heritage vessel built in 1924 and the oldest passenger vessel operating on the Yarra and Maribyrnong rivers. 36 pax capacity

Both vessels feature varnished timber, polished brass, safety equipment, W/C and qualified crew to operate the vessel  30 minute and 60 minute tours up (Scenic river) and down river (Docklands and Port) are our speciality, departing daily from Berth 3 South Gate. Our vessels are available for private bookings such as: children’s parties, school groups, family picnics, hen’s night’s and special sunset/sunrise cruises.  

Pick-up and set-down of guests can be arranged at locations other than South Gate Berth 3 (private bookings only) such as Science Works, Williamstown, Flemington Race Track, Herring Island, Casino, South Wharf, Fed Square, Leonda Function Centre, Docklands and Sport stadiums are available.
