Precinct Walk and Podcast

You're invited to put on your walking shoes and discover the river's fascinating history and attractions with our Walking Tour Podcast. Discover the Riverside parks, the cycling tracks, historic rowing sheds & beautiful gardens, the great restaurants, shopping and 24/7 entertainment. The Walking Tour begins at Federation Square and will take between one hour and two hours to complete.

Transforming the Yarra

A multi-media walking tour celebrating the development of the Yarra River Precinct since the 1980s from a post-industrial wasteland into the centre of Melbourne's public life is available as a free iPhone app' from the Apple iTunes store. The tour takes 25-30 minutes of continuous walking, between Federation Square to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre at South Wharf.
